Since 1972, Transit Computer Systems has been at the forefront of routing and scheduling technology in Australia. We have a successful 35-year track record of working with transport and distribution management to improve the efficiency and profitability of their operations. This is achieved through the use of our routing and scheduling system, Transit Odyssey, either by the client on-site or via our Route Creation Services where we use the system ourselves on our client's behalf.

Many of Australia's leading companies such as Australia Post, Arnotts Biscuits, Coles Online, Tip Top Bakeries, VersaCold, PaperlinX and Repco use Transit Odyssey as a tool to produce delivery and/or pick-up schedules on a daily basis; to re-organise their fixed routes; or as a strategic modelling tool. There are more than 60 Odyssey licences in use around Australia, of which 30% have been active for over a decade. This longevity is a testament to our ongoing commitment to delivering solutions that meet our clients' changing needs.

Transit is an Australian family business, founded by Richard Williams and now run and partly owned by his daughter Nicola.
