We purchased Odyssey in 2005 after winning the next stage of the CSR Bradford contract, partly as a result of the tender cost modelling that Transit did for us. CSR wanted the successful tenderer to use a routing system so that they would gain productivity efficiencies in terms of time and distance on the road, reduce the time spent scheduling and improve customer service in terms of arrival times on site. We chose Transit as our routing system provider because they are the market leader in Australia, the culture of the business matched ours, their support service is second-to-none and they run as a true partnership operation. |
